NewAge Products Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our growing finance team as an Accounts Payable and Receivable Analyst. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions, playing a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, payment approvals, and ensuring timely disbursements. 
  • Manage accounts receivable activities, including generating invoices, collecting payments, and following up on outstanding balances. 
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies between
    invoices, purchase orders, and payment records. This may involve analyzing data, comparing documents, and identifying errors. 
  • Research and understand the root cause of discrepancies, such as incorrect pricing, missing information or duplicate payments. 
  • Reconcile bank statements and AP/AR accounts
    to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. 
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends,potential risks, and opportunities for improvement in AP/AR processes. 
  • Prepare detailed reports on accounts payable and receivable activity, including aging reports and collection summaries. 
  • Maintain open communication with vendors and customers regarding account issues. 
  • Maintain strong internal controls to ensure the accuracy and security of financial data. 
  • Stay up to date on accounting best practices and relevant regulations. 
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.  

Qualifications Requirements:

  •   Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred). 
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable functions. 
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP). 
  • Excellent analytical, Critical thinking, Self-motivation, Adaptability, Strong work ethic, Teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactively identify and address potential risks and roadblocks
    within projects. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
