NewAge Products is looking for a Project Manager, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The incumbent’s main objective will be to lead the financial feasibility, design, and implementation of assembly facilities for steel and wood cabinetry products within existing infrastructure locations.
The Ideal candidate MUST have previous engineering project management experience in new construction, expansion, and renovation of facilities, and in the execution of businesses capital construction projects for sheet metal manufacturing.

Position Responsibilities
Phase 1: Analysis
• Determine the necessary space and machinery requirements to handle cabinetry assembly of specified volumes.
• Determine the equipment layout for optimal assembly efficiency.
• Determine the direct costs of assembling cabinetry products in the proposed facility, including Takt time and cycle time feasibility studies.
• Presenting findings to the management team through a complete costing model, with recommendations and sensitivity analysis.
• Prepare and plan project funding and budgeting documents.
• Managing outside consultants utilized to ensure costing and assumptions are accurate.

Phase 2: Implementation
• Manage the project team (design engineers, project engineers and logistics teams), site activity and project execution from start to completion of the project.
• Source and manage all sub-contractors, vendors and equipment.
• Leading the equipment installation, personnel hiring, and initial setup of the assembly facilities.
• Training assembly line team, including managers, to efficiently operate assembly plant over the long-term.
• Leading outside team members, sub-contractors, and vendors for specific analyses and project execution.
• Prepare and plan project funding and budgeting documents.
• Design project schedule utilizing tools such as Gantt charts and WBS.
• Liaise with the Senior Leadership at all stages of the project and process and be the key point of contact throughout the process.
• Ensure the project is kept on budget and within agreed timescales, communicating all issues and progress with the Management team.
• Scaling the assembly line model to multiple locations across the USA.
Other position related duties as assigned from time to time.

Experience & Education
• Must hold an Engineering Degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project Management.
• Experience in managing the setup of assembly lines from concept to commissioning is an asset
• Experience in preparing project budgets, project time frames and managed resources.
• Strong negotiation skills to be able to negotiate with suppliers and vendors (globally) as you will need to ensure that you secure the best possible deals for the business.
• Strong communicator with excellent organization skills and a strong ability to manage budgets, people and work to deadlines.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
• Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data.
• Solid judgement with the ability to make good decisions.
